Cookies we set now
When you land on the site we store a small set of first-party wml_* cookies that remember which marketing campaign brought you here. This lets us attribute your enquiry to the right campaign if you submit the quote form. They contain marketing-attribution values only — UTM tags (source, medium, campaign, term, content) and advertising click identifiers (such as Google and Meta click ids) — not the contents of your form.
| Cookie | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|
wml_utm_source, wml_utm_medium, wml_utm_campaign, wml_utm_term, wml_utm_content | Remember the campaign, source and keywords that referred you. | 90 days |
wml_gclid, wml_fbc, wml_fbp and similar click-id cookies | Remember the advertising click that referred you, for conversion measurement. | 90 days |
wml_landing_url | Remember the first page you arrived on. | 90 days |
These values are also mirrored in your browser’s local storage so attribution survives you leaving and returning. If your browser blocks cookies or storage, the site still works.
Cookies enabled later (tag manager)
We may enable Google Tag Manager to run analytics and advertising tags. When we do, additional cookies will be set — typically Google Analytics cookies such as _ga and _ga_<id> (which measure site usage), and advertising cookies from platforms like Google and Meta. The tag-manager snippet is currently present but switched off in the site code; this section will be updated with the full list when it goes live.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking the wml_* cookies only means we may not be able to attribute your enquiry to a campaign — it does not stop you requesting a quote.
